Yes. All calculators on Density Calculator are free to use. Advertising revenue helps us keep the tools accessible without paywalls.
Our calculators are built using internationally recognized scientific formulas and standards, including the Ideal Gas Law, ISA (ISO 2533:1975), ASTM standards for soil density, and IAPWS-IF97 for water density.
Results are suitable for general engineering reference work. For safety-critical applications, verify outputs against qualified professionals and authoritative sources.
Differences can come from:
- Different formula variants or approximations
- Different reference standards, such as ISA versus non-standard atmosphere
- Rounding differences in intermediate calculations
- Different input unit interpretations
If you believe there is a genuine error, send us the exact inputs, the result you saw, and the result you expected.
The page currently needs an internet connection to load. After it is loaded, the calculations themselves run entirely in your browser.
We are considering broader offline support through a future Progressive Web App update.

There is no public API right now. If you have an integration use case, email contact@aigotowork.work with the implementation details and we can review it.
Because we do not store calculation data, there is no server-side calculator history to delete.
If you submitted a contact message and want your personal information removed, email contact@aigotowork.work with the subject "Data Deletion Request" and we will process it in line with our Privacy Policy.
